Vestris, Gaetano Appolino Baldassare
(18 abr. 1729, Florencia, Italia–23 sep. 1808, París, Francia).

Bailarín y profesor de ballet francés de origen italiano. Tenía un estilo llamativo, aunque respetaba la técnica cortesana tradicional. Vestris se dio a conocer como el maestro más destacado de su época. Su alumno más famoso fue su hijo, Auguste Vestris.
